JOHN M. TAYLOR
Peralta, New Mexico


John Taylor (M.S. in Nuclear Engineering, Stanford University) has been a member of Sandia National Laboratories Technical and Management staff since 1975. He is the author or co-author of three books on nineteenth century New Mexico: Bloody Valverde and The Battle of Glorieta Pass (both published by the UNM Press) and Dejad a Los Niños (published by LPD Press. In addition, he has published numerous articles in various books and journals on Civil War and Catholic history topics. He has been a visiting professor at UNM, providing lectures on the history of arms control for various graduate and undergraduate classes. He is married to Lynn and has four daughters and two granddaughters.
